Frequently Asked Questions About "AIM"
Why do I need to have a facilitator perform the “AIM” sessions?

How can you claim to get results in the first day?
The “AIM” mapping system is a revolutionary approach that promotes positive dialog between 2 or more parties. We incorporate a number of senses (touch, hearing, sight, speech), over a broad number of discussion topics (approximately 30 topics), in a way that encourages either party to change their perspective at any time. Since the process is easy to understand and easy to implement, participants are able to get down to business in a very short period of time.

Why do you claim the “AIM” system is better than current assessment processes and performance evaluations?
The “AIM” system is a non-conflict 2-way dialog (Executive to Manager and Manager to Executive) that encourages participants to explain both the strengths and weaknesses within a department. Also, the process explores how the company as a whole effects the performance of a department. Current assessment processes and traditional performance reviews on the other hand, tend to be a 1-way discussions (Executive to Manager) from a hierarchy basis using a bi-polar rating scale. These outdated approaches cause unproductive stress and negative reinforcement.

How much time does it take to perform an “AIM” mapping session?
The first session between 2 people takes approximately 1.5—2.5 hours. After going through it the first time, each successive session usually takes less than 1 hour. For example, an owner or GM could meet with 8 direct reports in less than 1 day.
